  ভ্যাট কি? ভ্যাট হচ্ছে   Value Added Tax (VAT)   যার বাংলা অর্থ মূল্য সংযোজন কর।   যেসব কর মূল্যের সাথে যোগ করে পণ্যের দাম নির্ধারণ করা হয় তাকে   মূল্য সংযোজন কর বা ভ্যাট (VAT)   বলে।   মূল্য সংযোজন কর একটি পরোক্ষ কর, যা ভোক্তা বা ক্রেতার নিকট হতে আদায় করা হয়ে থাকে। অর্থাৎ একটি পণ্যের নির্দিষ্ট দামের পর অতিরিক্ত যে টাকা সংযোজন করা হয়, তাকেই মূল্য সংযোজন কর   বা সংক্ষেপে ভ্যাট বলা হয়। যখন একজন ব্যক্তি একটি দোকান থেকে একটি নির্দিষ্ট ধরনের পণ্য ক্রয় করেন তখন প্রতিটি পর্যায়ে একটি বিশেষ কর বা ভ্যাট যোগ করা হয়। এই কর ভারতে পরোক্ষ করের বিভাগের অধীনে পড়ে কারণ এটি সরকারকে করদাতা (পণ্য ও পরিষেবার প্রস্তুতকারী বা বিক্রেতা) দ্বারা পরোক্ষ উপায়ে প্রদান করা হয়। পণ্য ও পরিষেবার উৎপাদন এবং বিক্রয়/ক্রয়ের একাধিক পর্যায়ে ভ্যাট ধার্য করে। ভারতে, যে কোনো ব্যক্তি/উৎপাদক/বিক্রেতা যিনি রুপির বেশি আয় করছেন। পণ্য ও পরিষেবা সরবরাহের মাধ্যমে বার্ষিক 5.5 লক্ষ মূল্য সংযোজন কর বা ভ্যাট দিতে বাধ্য। এই কর স্থানীয় এবং আমদানি উভয় ক্ষেত্রেই প্রযোজ্য   ই-কমার...
